If DJ keeps hitting driver like he's been hitting and bombing the hell out of it giving himself wedges into these greens, he's going to be really hard to beat. He is by far the best of the tee with the driver. I wonder what it feels like to hit the ball that far and hit the fairway as much as he does.

Well, I can tell you, IT'S awesome!!!! It's helped me shoot in the low 60's a NUMBER of times!!!!

It helps a lot, it's the only way to play EA Sports Tiger Woods Golf!!!

The cut line is at +7 currently. I really need it to slide to +8. It's somewhat unlikely but there's a chance.

As this time, the USGA's software program is projecting the cut to be +9.

leaderboard link:

http://www.usopen.com/scoring.html

Below I've copied and pasted the USGA's method of monitoring/projecting a cut line.:

"After two rounds, the top 60 players, including ties, will advance to the final two rounds of the championship. Throughout the second wave of Round 2, the USGA provides a Projected Cut, which projects what the full-field leader board will look like at the end of Round 2. This projection uses a combination of actual scores for all players and the hole statistics for any holes they have yet to play.

As players post scores, the projected cutline can move as players perform better or worse than the average on the holes they have completed."

I hope they are at least partly right. As long as its gets to +8, I'm happy!

He is one of only 3 players on the course under par for the day and I think both others are only -1 for the day.   Wish I could have seen his round this morning, but the streaming at work has been spotty at best.   He looks like he could be going into one of the zones again.   But still a lot of golf let.

I caught most of his round this morning and he didn't miss many shots. I think he is getting into one of his zones and if that's the case, he'll run away with it this weekend.

He looks super focused for sure, but his execution has been at a high level so far as well.

I know the US Open has a history of challenging players and trying to keep scores low, but is this course just too hard for even the best players in the world? Understandably the conditions haven't helped things for these guys, but watching them even try to find their ball and hit out of that fescue just seems unfair at times.

Working on win 19. Hope he can get the grand slam. US Opens seem to be his thing though. Either way he is making it look easier, while the rest are getting buried.

Save it for Arizona please.

The Open across the pond is so much better, unless the Americans fly over and screw that one also!

Show some class!

Rant over!
