I'm a new at this and been playing for about 2 years now. Love the game! Any inputs for a new golfer are welcome!

Hello! Welcome! I travel to PR and would love to know your recommendation for good golf courses on the island. Preferably west coast if possible.

 

I have only been playing a couple years myself. My 1st year I spent often at pitch and putt (longest hole 130yrds). Helped me tremendously with my irons and putting. Then I moved on to executive par3 and finally to regular courses. I found just playing actual courses much better than going to the range.

I also splurged on a good putter early on and love the change.

YouTube has some good golf channels also.

I haven't yet play on the west coast of the island but I heard Punta Borinquen Golf Club is pretty good. The course is in Aguadilla. I will check of any other courses on the west of the Island and will let you know my findings. I regularly play in the north or southeast side of the island. In the north you can check Rio Bayamon Golf and on the southeast El Legado or on the east side of the island you can find El Conquistadot. Let me know if you need mor information regarding this courses.

 

For me also YouTube has help me a lot and I watch the videos almost on a daily basis.
