The Beta (Green Eyes) seems to be the more popular RIP shaft on the tour at the moment, as it has a slightly lower kick point (read=higher launch) than the red-eyed Alpha you see on the store-bought Superdeep. I had a chance to hit one about a week ago in a Superfast TP, and it feels SO much better than the Alpha it's not even funny. The Alpha feels to me a lot like the Fubuki Tour Issue, i.e. hard as a board and no load at all. I am supremely jealous.
