So I know golf season is back in swing for most of us and before they close this thread I wanted to give an update on the irons I won in last year competition. As you may remember I won the irons and Cobra upgraded me to the One length Forged Tec model. I got fitted at a local country club with the help of the moderators here at MyGolfSpy and with Cobra golf. I am happy to say that these irons are the best I have ever played with and they kicked my Ping I200s out of the bag very quickly. As a military guy with a big family I have little time to practice and play. These irons have taken many of the variables out of my game. I am now using the same ball position and swing with every club and I have approximately 10 yards between each club which helps with club selection. My GiR percentage is through the roof right now. The picture attached is my first round after a 6 week layoff. These irons just work for me. I am hitting the ball higher and straighter than ever. I have now identified putting as my only weakness in my game. I had to get a putter fitting at Club Champion because of these irons! I am hitting between 75 and 89 percent of the greens in any round. I can now tell you how much these clubs have helped me game...the confidence and consistency these irons produce is unparalleled. I look forward to this years Cobra Connect challenge. Very nice Geeking. I noticed the same last year during the challenges which culminated in me shooting best round ever breaking 80 for the second time. Shooting 78... with amazing fairways hit and GIR's..

Way to go Geek, Nunfa0 is gonna try to outdue the F8’s this season. As for me, still gaming F8’s, Driver distance up, got 237 yds yesterday and 9/14 FIR’s. Also, today I did the Wilson D7 Challenge. After a; hour of working with the fitter at Edwin Watts, trying the Wilson D7, Taylormade M6 & Mizuno 919, he determined that I hit the Cobra F8 best!

Just want to add that today I did the Wilson D7 Challenge. After warming up with my Cobra F8 7 iron, I tried the D7, then they had me try a TMAG M6 & a Mizuno 919. Guess what? The F8 was straighter and launched higher than the others. So, the Cobra F8’s remain in the bag. Heck, ya gotta step outside the box and try stuff.......right?

Well, it’s been s long Winter Season and my numbers went South, Big now they are on the mend...then
...January..and now...

Plan on tracking thru this year....Driver has improved in length and putting has improved. Just need to work on irons and wedges.

After a 3 month layoff for my F8’s, I went out with the full bag and shot a 35/44:79........even par on the front. The F8’s were definitely a winner on Super Bowl Sunday!
