PlaidJacket
By following this link https://forum.mygolfspy.com/forum/24-clubmakingclub-repairfitting/ you'll find 19 pages of various stuff - club building - club fitting - can I use X brand shaft - is my putter to heavy - what size shoes should I wear - etc, etc. However, a lot of people visiting as well as members ask who does fitting, who do we recommend, where are these people located, is there one close to where I live, how much does it cost, what clubs do they sell/fit, etc. etc. Anyway, I thought I'd ask for some member feedback and even perhaps a Mod could be useful as to whether it might make sense (or not) to add a NEW specific Category where forum members who actually are Club Fitters and Builders can list their contact info. I know of a few guys around here that are fitters. There's probably more. Perhaps even a Mod might have to review/approve a person prior to allowing them to become listed. The topic wouldn't be used for questions and answers. In fact it would be static and unavailable for discussion. Now - Don't start listing yourself here if you are a fitter. This topic is just to toss around the idea. Does this even makes sense and would it be helpful? Hey if nobody likes my idea I'll live. So, let er rip guys. Example: Forum Member Name City or area of country you serve Type of fittings you preform - indoor/outdoor/both Fitting equipment you use and have available Equipment brands you work with Services you perform Years experience Credentials Preferred contact info Short Resume My Sun Mountain bag currently includes: 771CSI 5i - PW and PFC Micro Tour-c 52°, 56°, 60 wedges EXS 10.5*, 929-HS FW4 16.5* Willimette w/GolfPride Contour
Kor.A.Door
they wouldn't really need contact info since we could just PM them from here. Unless they would prefer an email or something like that. It's not a horrible idea to have. Interesting to think about anyway. Lefties are always in their Right Mind

cksurfdude
It is a good idea. There are a large number of fitters here on LI and near NYC .. from local pros to big box stores to Club Champion to Callaway Performance Center to small independent shops. Would be helpful to have some forum member experiences, recommendations, etc. WITB of an "aspiring" play-ah ... Angry Yeti
I like this idea. I don't think full contact info is needed, but I see a list of members to reach out to about fitting or club building would be helpful.
