Darren from Myrtle Beach/Conway, SC saying hello. Lucky enough to move down here from Boston 2 years ago at 28 years old and never going back. 

 

I also run a golf blog, @fringelifegolf and at https://fringelifegolf.wordpress.com/

 

I might not play all that well, 80s when I'm on, 90s when I'm not but I love the game. Floating somewhere around a 13 handicap now, down from a 25 just a year ago. 

 

No home course, I'm signed up for the PrimeTime pass here which grants discounted access to 22 Founders Group courses but my local favorites are Pawleys Plantation, Wild Wing, Willbrook, and King's North. Lucky enough that my wife plays too. We got both engaged and married on a golf course. 

 

Still working on some swing changes and improvements before I get custom fitted. Currently play a mixed bag of irons (JPX 825, F7, Apex CF16), Callaway XR OS hybrids, Wilson Staff Triton Driver, MD3 wedges, and an old Odyssey White Ice DART. Srixon Q stars for ball

Glad to have you on here. I am in the area too. Know most of the folks with the Founders Group pretty well. Played in an event with a bunch of them last week. The prime Times card is a great deal. I do not have one because I had another deal. Indian Wells is my home course and I am a former member but am still considered a member because it is my home course and I have been around there on and off for the last 16 years or so through 4 ownership changes. Besides it is right around the corner from the house. Maybe we can get together some time and play. Actually played 2 weeks ago with MGSer John Smalls who is a fine guy from up around the Rock Hill area.

 

Yeah you will like this site great members on here and there is none of that put down flaming BS you get on other sites. I play for fun now and only play one day a week or so and you will see me playing anything from my signature set to clubs in the 1940s.
