Amazon Prime Day...And Deals!

So today is the annual Amazon Prime Day!    Is it a great thing or just another marketing ploy by another retailer?

 

  In the early years I think there were some really great deals to be had.  Not so sure the past couple years, or maybe I just got picky or missed out.

 

Anybody looking forward to it?   Have hopes for anything special.

 

Also come back to the thread here and post your finds/purchases when it gets underway.

I've picked up some bluetooth speakers in the past and saved a couple $$.  You kind of have to have something in mind as there is so much that is offered that you end up spending more than you want on stuff you don't need, LOL.

Well the start of the Amazon Prime Day was essentially a triple-double-triple start. Website issues for the first 1hr+ and now with the deals up and running, I don't have a need for an electric pencil sharpener. If only there were some decent deals on clubs, then I would be informing the wife of large packages arriving in two days.

I haven't seen good club deals. Only full sets meant for beginners or very part time players. Some Callaway accessories are discounted.

Can certainly find plenty of "golf" stuff on ebay for 119 and above... I know I have many times.  =)

Prime day feels like a joke now. It's like a bad yard sale. There are some deals worth going for, but certainly nothing mindblowing in my opinion.

Many people think they are ugly but I love the look of ISI's. They look like a sculpture. Almost like art.

Last year it was worthwhile as we bought some kids Kindle Fires, but it seems that unless you are buying a Amazon device there aren't many good deals.

...gotta say that Prime Day can be great if you're looking for something very specific.  but how many amazon echo's does one family need ??? or iOttie phone holders....or 32" TCL televisions....

 

I haven't seen anything that makes me say wow like during black friday yet.  maybe they're saving their best for last.
