Shankster
Everyone knows I am a Links lover stuck in a parkland paradise. I really can't get enough of reading about, listening to, watching, and playing a Links course when I get a chance (and it wasn't even real) To curb our The Open Championship hangover, we get a follow up of the Senior Open, on the old course. I will be tuning in for this to watch Tom Watson the Links King. Let's talk about it!
Golfspy_CG2
Normally I don't get too excited about the Senior Tour events, even the Majors, like I watched 5 minutes of the Senior US Open. But I'll be watching a lot of this one. I mean it's St. Andrews, I'd probably watch the Crofton Country Club Championship (local private club) on TV if they moved it to St. Andrews!! Shankster
I only watch the ones played on links land. And most of the time it's a replay because they don't cover it too well on the networks.

Golfspy_CG2
Langer yeah, he would certainly have to be the favorite. But I haven't seen the entire player list yet. There's probably someone from Europe who plays St. Andrews reguarly and still contends. Either way it'll be fun to watch. Berg Ryman
Going well outside the board here, Brandt Jobe to win this thing. 2nd on Champions Tour in driving distance and bombers have an advantage at St. Andrews, first in birdies per round, 6th in putting, plus top 5 in each of the the last two Senior majors. Berg Ryman
Someone has done their research. Well Shank, truth be told, I went to the Champions Tour page, looking at driving distance, saw who was near the top and who was a good putter. Brandt seemed a good shout, especially when I clicked through his stats and saw the birdie average. And the EuropeanTour needs a EuropeanTour live app. So much better looking golf courses to look at across the pond. At least to me.
