We must have passed this course on our way into Dillon a couple dozen times the first year we moved here.  A few had already suggested it as a good course for me to try.  Having come from the lush courses of the PNW, this outwardly from the highway had all the looks of a flat cow pasture.  I'm delighted to say that is far from the truth.  The course is in immaculate shape, has plenty of trees, heavy ruff, water hazards, and two sets of tees which make the second time around the 9 hole layout look and play differently.  For $25 walking 18, it is a good deal.  It is rarely crowded and speed of play is good.  The nicely appointed clubhouse has great food at very reasonable prices and the beer is ice cold.

 

Hey, we're talking southwest Montana here - where cattle and trout far exceed local population.  Honestly, to have a course like this within an hours drive is awesome.  If you happen to find yourself in Dillon, MT, I highly recommend this course... it's also the only one there.

Howdy.  I have a handful of new Canadian friends and playing partners from our winters in Yuma.  They introduced me to "wolf" and work hard at winning dimes from me.  They also introduced be to "birdie juice", and now I carry a flask filled with spiced rum and cough syrup cups  .
