I know this isn't the main event this week but I am curious how many are watching and if you like the Stableford scoring.

Do you think the PGA should make a more popular event Stableford? Or, do you think Stableford has no place in a pro golf event?

On the fence.. not sure it would bring anything to a tournament here. Can't say I've ever heard someone say I wish they went with the stableford format.

I don't like Stableford at all, for me it's a gimmick.

I like the Stableford as a one time event - it used to be played on a better week - I'd actually prefer it in the World Golf Classic rotation - I love the idea of testing different skills at that level right below the Majors.

Yes, that is what I was thinking too. The WGC already has the Match Play, so they already have the idea to do something different. The WGC are great events but pale in comparison to the majors. If they added something special to them they would be much closer to the majors.

Me too. It's a pretty cool scoring system and seems to fit the "race getting into the FedEx Cup".  Man, that course looked really gorgeous; would be fun to play.
