I have been trolling through the mygolfspy blog and forum for a couple months now and realized I never introduced myself. A little about me: I am 25 years old and have been golfing for the better part of those 25 years. I grew up playing competitive golf in Jr PGA events but I was never any good. I just have no innate talent for the game. What I lack in talent, I make up for in passion, however. I practiced hard into my teen years and was competitive throughout my high school career, but kind of 'fell off the horse' when the responsibilities of life came along (college, job, and family). I jumped back into the game seriously this past season and was pleased to see that I still have some game. My goals are to keep practicing to get into form for next season's state amateur events and hopefully be somewhat competitive (at least enough to make it through qualifying!) I look forward to bantering with all of you on the forums here! And as I always suggest, if you think you suck at golf, just play with golfers who are worse than you are. Confidence problem solved!
