tonyj5
This week the LPGA travels to Canada for the playing of the CP Women's Open. Sung Hyun Park will be trying to defend the title she won last year, when her final round sixty-four was good enough to win by two strokes over Mirim Lee. Thin2win
I end up watching way more LPGA golf than PGA. My swing speed is roughly the same as theirs, so it is more enjoyable for me to watch them work around a 6500y course then the guys hit 200y 7 irons. Was happy to see Brooke win, she has to be driving tons of junior females to try golf in Canada. fixyurdivot
I suppose it appropriate that Brooke won the tournament - it certainly was what the crowd wanted. She has become quite a formidable player and will be contending and winning many more events. I end up watching way more LPGA golf than PGA. The ladies are statistically as good (perhaps better) and very competitive. I agree that Brooke will likely be the catalyst that gets more Canadian women into golf and ultimately onto the tour. I hear about her all the time while in Yuma playing golf with my Canadian friends.
