I have many colors of Kentwool socks, and will usually match my sock color to my shirt if possible.  I do this of course with white shoes and shorts.  When the temperature drops, I wear pants with dark shoes and Kentwool Tour Standard socks, mostly in black but I also have navy.

I played the course (as I was an invited guest) but never been back. It's a well know 'snobby' course.

I’ve been to many upscale Golf Courses in Northeast but none that bad.

Being the fashionista that I am I only wear low cut black, navy or gray socks in the summer. In the winter I wear either black or navy crew socks.  In fact black and navy socks are all I own I think. They go with anything. 

Funny... I was in a department store (Stein Mart) earlier today and noticed a whole wall of goof-ball socks. I guess somebody wears that stuff. But not me.

I have migrated from all other socks to Kentwool.  I will not wear anything else.  As shown above I have multiple colors in ankle length that I wear in warm weather with shorts.  Of course, I try to match colors top to bottom, but I have been known to wear oddball colors at times.  Since they are ankle length, not much shows, so who cares?

The weather has turned this past week and it's a little chilly.  I started wearing long pants again.  I cannot wear ankle length socks with long pants.  Hate the feeling on pant cuffs on bare ankles.  So, I had to break out my Kentwool Tour Standard socks.  I only have black and navy, but they just came out with gray, so when I order again, I will probably add that color.

I actually prefer to wear my FJ DNA shoes without socks. And when I break in new shoes I go sockless to prevent heel blisters.

I am so obsessed with socks, so I have a whole collection of socks of any color and size
I've never liked one color socks. It's so boring. When I was 9 years old, I specially learned to sew all sorts of stripes to my socks. I wanted to make them unique. As time went on, my passion for such things did not change. Now everything is much easier. For example, on funnypetsocks.com I can order socks with my own design. Moreover, they suggest that your socks be costumed with the image of your pet. It sounds crazy, but it looks really cute:)

Coming in at 2.5 years late because somehow I completely missed your post.  You're a brave dude.  I am the exact opposite.  If I don't wear socks I'm more prone to get heel blisters...not to mention the smell from going sockless....ooooof
