Kenny B
I checked the date of manufacture on mine and they meet the 2016 or later criteria. But they certainly did not include any sort of warranty registration information with my purchase. To the contrary, trying to locate any solid information the company has publicly disseminated re: product warranties has been a fruitless endeavor. For posterity, it would probably be helpful to a whole bunch of people if you posted a copy of the blank warranty card within this thread. Sorry. I haven't been on lately. The warranty card is in my office. I'll stop by there later today, snap and pic, and post. “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”
EthanSterlingPrice
I've been meaning to post this for over a month now. I got my first pair of Skechers golf shoes at the beginning of this year. I've never particularly liked Skechers golf shoes looks but thought I'd give em a shot because they were supposed to be extremely comfortable (which they are). I never thought I'd have to worry about the quality of the shoe though! Within a month the plastic was cracking on them. Now, nearly 8 months later they are about to fall apart. Is this normal??? I play a decent amount of golf but not that much. I probably average around 2 round a week riding (not walking). And I haven't even worn these shoes every time I've played. My last couple pair of Nikes lasted years and are still wearable. They definitely didn't start falling apart on me. I asked the pro I bought them from and he said that personally he hasn't problems with them, but said that he has heard other members expressing issues with them. This worries me. These are $150 shoes and I guess I'm a cheap ass but that seems like a decent amount for a shoe that barely makes it 6 months. Have any of yall seen quality control issues with your pairs of Skechers? Or did I just get a lemon of a shoe? lol you ain't cheap my friend that's a good chunk of money. I've never been a big fan of Sketchers shoes in general but I know a few fellas who really enjoy them. Hope you get it worked out! Undershooter
My Skechers I bought about a month ago came with a 2 year warranty. Looks like it applies to most all models. According to my warranty card, your shoes are covered. Skechers should honor that. If you want a copy of the card, I can send it. Kenny could you please PM a pic of it! I can't find my box anywhere and so far have not gotten any response from Skechers. I'm starting to get worried on this one. Edit: Nevermind... BIGBALL
Interesting... I have both the Canvas water resistant casual shoes, and the leather waterproof shoes ( both spikeless ) No issues, other than the canvas ones did develop a hole in the toe area at about 9 months. They are without a doubt, for me, the most comfortable shoe out there now ( other than the TRUE's, which after I tore my plantar are no bueno for me. Mr. 82
I recently bought two pairs of the Skechers tennis shoe style golf shoes and absolutely love them. Undershooter
I'll post some pics of the shoes. They are dirty seeing as my last round in them from the summer came at Mossy Oak which is extremely dusty/muddy if you find yourself in the waste areas which I did often. I will say that the dirt on the shoes makes them look more worn than they are. The plastic toe on the right shoe cracked within a month. The rest of the shoe and its seams slowly detiorared over the next 5 months until I became too embarrassed to wear them. It's a pity they fell apart, bc they were comfortable. Undershooter
The shoes above have somewhere between 30-45 rounds on them with maybe 9 holes of those rounds being walking and the rest on a cart. No range time or practice to speak of either. When I get home I'll post pics of some of my older pairs of shoes to show how they've held up in comparison. My Nike TW 14s probably have 200+ rounds on them including a ton of walking rounds and they look better than the Skechers do. Kenny B
Not sure if it would have made a difference, but I would have cleaned them up so the only issue would have been the shoes falling apart. I have been wearing my GoGolf Elite V3 LX for the last couple of months; probably 10 walking rounds and 25 riding rounds. They still look nearly new except that the toes have faded in color a little after getting wet then drying. They are a darker gray color. I need to find a polish in a color match. Great shoes though. Very comfortable! “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”

They avoided emails for three months and then when I did finally make contact with them, they brushed off the warranty claim like it didn't matter. Skechers warranty department similarly put me through the ringer when the sole started to separate from the upper on my pair of GoGolf Focus Collegiate. I probably had about a dozen walking rounds on them before they started splitting. I tend to take really good care of my stuff so other than the sole separating they looked pristine. I initially tried the email route but like you received no response. Skechers did however answer the phone on my first attempt. They initially tried to convince me that Skechers shoes are sold with no implied warranty. After mentioning the 2 year waterproof warranty card that Plaid kindly posted, my rep put me on hold. After a 10 minute hold she placed an arbitrary $59 value on my shoes over the phone. I explained that a $59 credit wouldn’t come close to putting me in another pair of their golf shoes with the same features and demanded an identical replacement; so she put me on hold for another 10 minutes. At that point she rescinded the $59 credit offer and explained the shoes would need to be shipped in for inspection. A few weeks later I received an email that my shoes were deemed defective and they offered me the same $59 credit. So I got on the phone again for clarification. After some heated back and forth they said okay, we’ll send you a free replacement pair. I just needed to include a primary and secondary color preference with the return packaging. None of my choices included black but that’s what they sent me (I’ve _never_ worn black golf shoes btw). My conclusion, they are a crap shoe company. Much as I liked the styling and stability on that particular model, I will never buy another pair of Skechers. ______S9-1 Pro D - Matrix Ozik XCON 6 S ______S9-1 Pro 15* - Matrix Ozik XCON 7 S ________3DX 17* - Matrix Ozik Altus Hybrid SG ______ICON Black 4-PW - KBS Tour V S __________588 RTG 49 RTX 52.10 56.12 - DG S400 ______Amazing Grace NYC Tour CS _______'19 TP5X (the preceding have all been gamer approved) "The most important shot in golf is the next one“ - Ben Hogan
tony@CIC
That's awesome! I wish I had one close by but I do not unfortunately. All I have close by is Dicks, Academy Sports, Nevada Bob's and Edwin Watts. I do have around $400 credit at a local pro shop that I can use toward shoes and whatever else though. So that will likely be my route. Stop by the Dicks, which owns GG. They may be discounting the inventory as well. Undershooter
1 hour ago, downlowkey said: Skechers warranty department similarly put me through the ringer when the sole started to separate from the upper on my pair of GoGolf Focus Collegiate. I probably had about a dozen walking rounds on them before they started splitting. I tend to take really good care of my stuff so other than the sole separating they looked pristine. I initially tried the email route but like you received no response. Skechers did however answer the phone on my first attempt. It's too easy to say no over email but on the phone they have to be a little nicer and more understanding if they want to have decent customer service. I agree with you about them being a sub standard company at this point.
