Mizuno mp-18 (7-9) mp-18 sc (5-6), titleist tmb (4). Modus 120x shafts.

While the i210 fits more with my current setup, I think I would like to test the i500 to report on whether the extra distance helps my game or hurts it. I'd have to change my wedge lofts, probably to make the gapping work, but that would be worth the test. Would also love to see how the i500s compare sound/feel wise the my Mizunos.

Driver: TS3, 9* (C1 setting, surefit cartridge in fade setting)

3/4 Wood: 917D2, 16.5 degrees (D1 setting, surefit cartridge neutral)

Hybrid: Titleist 818 H2, 19 degrees (C3 setting, surefit cartridge neutral)

Irons: Mizuno MP-18 MMC Fli-Hi 4-Iron (23 degrees); Mizuno MP-18 SC 5-iron(26) and 6-iron(30); Mizuno MP-18 7-iron(34), 8-iron(38), 9-iron(42), and P Wedge(46). Nippon Modus 120x shafts. 1 degree upright.

Wedges: Mizuno S-18 50, 54, and 58 degrees. 50 is 1 degree upright, 54 and 58 are standard lie. Nippon Modus 120x, soft stepped in the 54 and 58.

I would prefer the i500

Exciting, hope I get lucky and get picked.

Would love to write a detailed review. I played the i20 irons for years, and regret leaving Ping irons.

PING i210/i500 irons

Yep, you read that one correctly, my fine fellow GolfSpies!

As in Eight is Enough or Eight Days a Week. As in a touchdown and a two-point conversion.

We're looking for EIGHT of you to test, review and keep a set of PING's new i210 or i500 irons (four testers for each set), and let your friends here on MyGolfSpy know if those two new irons sets stand and deliver for better players - feel and accuracy for i210 types and distance and playability for you i500 guys (or gals).

This review opportunity is open to any eligible MyGolfSpy Forum member in good standing who resides and plays golf on the planet known as the Third Rock From the Sun.

How To Apply:

Here's what we need you to do - first, visit PING's website and determine which iron is best for you, the i500 or the i210.

Then, in this forum (and in this forum ONLY!!!!!), tell us the following:

Your first name

Your home state/province/country

Your handicap

Your current irons set/shaft

Your PING choice - i210 or i500

We'll announce the testers in this thread next week, so make sure you check back to see if you've been chosen.

Good luck!!!
