PING i210/i500 irons

Yep, you read that one correctly, my fine fellow GolfSpies!

As in Eight is Enough or Eight Days a Week. As in a touchdown and a two-point conversion.

We're looking for EIGHT of you to test, review and keep a set of PING's new i210 or i500 irons (four testers for each set), and let your friends here on MyGolfSpy know if those two new irons sets stand and deliver for better players - feel and accuracy for i210 types and distance and playability for you i500 guys (or gals).

This review opportunity is open to any eligible MyGolfSpy Forum member in good standing who resides and plays golf on the planet known as the Third Rock From the Sun.

How To Apply:

Here's what we need you to do - first, visit PING's website and determine which iron is best for you, the i500 or the i210.

Then, in this forum (and in this forum ONLY!!!!!), tell us the following:

Your first name

Your home state/province/country

Your handicap

Your current irons set/shaft

Your PING choice - i210 or i500

We'll announce the testers in this thread next week, so make sure you check back to see if you've been chosen.

Good luck!!!

Nike Slingshot  4-AW - Stock shaft

Ping i500

I don't post often at all on this site, but love the reviews people give. Being in the market for some new irons (these slingshots I've had since senior year of high school) I'd love to test these and give a review that could maybe even help some other people make a decision too. Hell even if i don't win, I'm sure the winner's review will help too. Good luck to everyone else!

****Edited because damn the i500s look sexy!

Your first name:  Michael
Your home state/province/country: California , USA
Your handicap:  14
Your current irons set/shaft" G30
Your PING choice - i210 or i500: I prefer the i210s.

I currently play Ping, and like the G30. But I am considering a more "players" iron.  I tend to play at Poppy Ridge, where we have a lot of wind,  and a lot of differing distances and shots. The other courses that I play require precise iron play, so this looks really good, and I believe that I will supply feedback that will be helpful.

thanks for the consideration,

Current clubs left hand ping i200 stiff aws metal +1/2. White

Long time ping clubs user starting with the eye2 I purchased at Bethpage measure all shots with arccos 360 and practice on the range with the Mevo flightscope. Love the look of the i200 but would Like to try the I500 to see the actual realization of distances. I'm 58 had a knee replacement. I don't turn like I used to and would like to see if the marketing is real on the course.
