I'd love to give the i500 a try, they look beautiful. I've demo'd the TM P970 and the i500 look like they will give the 790s a run for their money.

I normally don't say anything when not applying... but mark my words... this one sets a record.   Good luck everyone!

Ok....I couldn't quite get the thread to 2500 to become one of the all time Testing threads, but we don't need numbers to do that. These two models of irons do that well enough. So let's just get t

My name is Michael

I live in Arizona

Current Handicap is 8.1

Current Iron set up is the Ping G's 4-PW, shafts are the AWT 2.0 in stiff flex. White dot with an extra inch in length on all.

My choice would be the I210's. I don't need help with the distance but being able to feel my shots better is why I'm choosing the I210's.

- Ben

- MN, USA

- No official Handicap as of yet, been working hard this Summer to get enough golf in at the same course to establish one. But I shoot between 80-90 shaving strokes off every round.

- Acer XK High Trajectory irons with TT Dynamic Gold shafts.

- Ping i210 irons would be my choice. Most of my focus and time has been put into honing my yardage's, and getting familiar with my distances for each club. This has payed off huge over the course of Summer, with plenty to improve upon still. I would prefer the old school traditional lofts as apposed to the modern stronger loft setups. I'm looking for an iron that's going to hit my number every time I need it too. If distance is needed, club up. I'll take accuracy and a tight dispersion over Extra distance. If I can tighten up that end of my game, I'm confident to play a scratch round by the end of Summer.
