From a pure talent stand point he is for sure one of the most talented QBs ever. As for the wins and super bowls time will tell, but off to a good start. TB has his own limits for sure but obviously succeeded at an unseen level. Mahomes if he keeps it up will be there too for sure.

Salary cap means that any dynasty can last about 7 years, tops. Mahomes remains at an MVP level for 15 years though, and this is coming from a lifelong Broncos fan. I was at the MNF game where he made that left handed toss while being tackled by Von Miller: I looked at my wife and said, “ this bleeping guy is gonna be a problem for the next 15 years”. Except I didn’t say bleeping

Montana was/is the best ever *, then Brady. Mahomes is the best playing today, and he may well be the GOAT in time, but that remains to be seen. I am indifferent to KC, but I will watch any of their televised games to see Mahomes play - he makes one or more exceptional plays in every game, doing things almost no one else is able to...

Not to develove this into a best QB debate but will try noting that considering only the super bowl record between penalizes one simply making more super bowls instead of losing in the conference title game or earlier. Would be tough to go 9 - 0 but it's worth a debate.

I’m giving my POV and supporting data, you’re welcome to yours.

I never suggested Brady would have to be 9-0 to compare to Montana. Brady was 3-1 after his first four SB, and never won 4 in a row. Only Montana and Bradshaw went 4-0 so far in SB history.

6-3 is far better. TB got the Pats to 9 SBs in 20 years. That’s outrageous in comparison to every other QB in NFL history.

Montana was amazing. TB is the GOAT. No matter how you look at it.

Am I the only one who can't watch the WTF's if Alex Smith is playing?  I can't *not* see him getting his leg ripped off again.

As someone with a medical background it’s incredibly dangerous. Watching him get spiked a few weeks back in the opposite side made me question the medical staff since he’s more susceptible to infections now going forward

As a die hard Steelers fan all my life I have to say, bring on the Browns!!  Not that the end of our season was anything to write home about, but at the end of the day I will go down with the ship hoping for the best!  

Odds on favorite this year though for me, the Bills.  That's the ONLY team if they play like they have that has a prayer of beating the Chiefs.  Though the Packers (my second favorite team way back to the Majik man...) are looking like they are gonna be VERY tough as long as no. 12 is out there winging it!

Its certainly exciting. I’m 40 this year so it’s easy to get a little nostalgic. 
 

Anything’s possible so I’m just hoping they keep their focus. McDermott’s been good at managing expectations and the locker room looks like they’re having fun.

Hes done a really solid job with that team, completely turned it around for them (helps that the team is actually good too). They are alot of fun to watch, damn that hurts to say.

It does hurt to say, but it's true. The Bills are playing excellent football right now and overall that's good for the game itself.

The Pats dynasty is over, I'm hopeful that they'll be back in the playoffs in a year or two (we'll see how the draft goes and where all that cap money is allocated) but that's the way it goes. 6 titles and 9 SB trips in 20 years. It was an outstanding run.
