... Would have been nice but I doubt they had any takers. Ignorant Bears fans loved Fields but clearly they were the only ones. I cringed every time he dropped back and held the ball longer than Cantlay takes to hit a putt.

Longer than cantlay’s preshot routine period. But yes, I am a Green Bay fan. Do I think the Bears put qb’s into a tough position period when they come in to play? Yes. Outside of Moore and Kmet doesn’t count, who was the second leading receiver? The offensive coordinator did not help y’all at all either.

I thought Fields was good!! Detroit had no problem with anyone last season including beating KC at Arrowhead and leading San Fran 24-7 at halftime before choking but the Bears beat them and had them beat in game 2 but we came back. Fields has no O line but he gets blamed for it all?? I saw it with Matt Stafford the guy set several all time NFL records and the hydrohead screwball fans complained him right to LA where he promptly won a Superbowl!!! How many times did Chicago rush for over 100 yds last year??? How many good wide relievers are there and how many all pro O Line players??? They had the 23rd ranked O line in the NFL but hell that's Fields fault too. That the guy would even play for terrible fan base shows his character!!! Treated like garbage from day 1 and chased in the pocket on every snap. Put him somewhere with decent fans and an O Line he will b ProBowl. Oh and before anyone gets on me for putting down the fans I was born at Oak Park Memorial and grew in in Chi Town

Have to disagree with @Marlin Dave, and I have seen Fields play the Lion's since he came into the league. Watched other Bears games too, so not just a small sample size.

He does have the "hold the ball too long" and "not seeing the open receiver" issues documented all through his game films, but I also agree that the lack of talent on the offensive line, and the lack of proper or good coaching hasn't done him any favors either.

Since there are still a lot of teams looking for QB help, he may get another shot if Chicago does find a trade partner, but what they get in return will be nowhere near the first round pick they used to take him.

Ah yes, I forgot Harbaugh played for Da Bears. I just searched through the 90s-present.  They have had it rough besides a few decent Cutler years.

But in that 30 years the bears at least won playoff games and went to a Super Bowl.. so not the same as Detroit.

But they didnt!!! Last SB was 86' and they have only won 4 playoff games which as you said is better than Detroit only winning 2 but if your team is only 2 playoff games better than Detroit in the last 30 years you are in big trouble having only a tiny margin of playoff wins vs the very worst team in NFL history and record holder of every all time we suck records, Does not bode well for your team  and I would be willing to bet Detroit gets those two wins to tie Chicago and then some before Chicago wins another playoff game!!! Oh and thanks for Montgomery as he makes the perfect partner for the two headed monster we now have with him and our rookie Gibbs!!! They scored 21 TDs between the two of them.

Well you guys need a Tight End to beat the Detroit Lions??? Well yes Kelce and Jones were out so one player on Offense and one on Defense  BUT the Lions were minus both their starting corners, a defensive Tackle, a linebacker their starting running back and a wide receiver. But they still won
