There was a lot of gripe about having 2 match ups in week 12 being a bye week and all. We're not going to give up that 2nd match up since everyone should play everyone in their conference so [mention=27071]Undershooter30[/mention] and I have come up with a possible solution. This is how it'll be posted in the league poll. The results of the poll on Fantrax will determine the outcome, not voting here in the forum: Option A: Keep it as is Regular Season ends Week 12 with 2 match ups against conference foes Each playoff round is 1 week and Playoffs run from Week 13-16 No game week 17 Option B: Extend to Week 17 (bear with me) Regular Season ends Week 13 with one match up week 12 and one match up week 13 Conference Playoffs from Week 14-16 one week per round Super Bowl in Week 17 BUT points scored during week 16 add to the totals as well _________________________ The End. I voted against it simply because it was too late in the year to change IMO. My local league uses week 17 for our championship without too many problems. The key is knowing in advance so you can improve your bench to cover the guys who may sit that week. By locking rosters once a team gets dropped, you're basically left with scrubs battling in the end for teams who may not have their best players out there on the field because they have nothing to play for, and for those saying, "should have managed your bench better" what's the point of a bench in fantasy sports except for fliers when your studs aren't playing.
