Greetings everyone,

 

Jake here. I have two boys, 12 and 13, that play Jr. PGA League and I try and play on some weekends with them - the lucky kids play 3-4 times per week during the season. I recently bought a set of clubs for my wife so we can play golf as a family as long as we are able. With work and a small farm I only get to play about 2 times per month, but am maintaining a 4.3 handicap. This year may be the year of new clubs, as my iron set is pushing 19 years old (Ping i3 Blades). I started playing golf in windy Oklahoma, then ended up in Phoenix playing desert golf. Now we are in New Mexico playing high desert golf. Having played most of my golf within the States that I have lived in has certainly taught me to play different games depending on conditions.

Thanks. I use to be scratch, but not playing has affected my performance.
