Selling Backup Set

Recommended Posts

Our Sponsors

When I got my current gamer set, I decided to keep my old set as a backup. Well, after 2/3 of a year, I haven't touched them once. Everything is is good shape. I'll sell piece by piece or all together if anyone wants it all. I'll even throw in my old bag if someone buys the whole set.

My philosophy is....Never sell golf clubs.

The money is gone in no time and you're left with nothing.

Golf is an obscenely expensive game.

The few bucks that we can get for used golf clubs doesn't make a dent.

Old clubs make an awesome den decoration scheme....

although I admit recent ones are butt ugly compared to older ones...

I've got every set that I've owned since 1961.

The old clubs all have stories to tell.

But I suppose that's just me.

I can't even play anymore, and I lurk around the forum anyway.

The game is just special to me.

I don't ever want to give up anything.

Just an PSA to anyone who says they have trouble hitting hybrids.

Jump on this baby, by far the easiest hybrids I've ever hit. It just flies high and straight.

Mine are finishing their 3rd season in the bag. Anybody who knows me, knows how I'm incredible that is.

Yes, it does. Actually would get too high for me, so I got an 818 H2 with x flex to keep the flight down. The 816 h1 was definitely easier to hit, though.

A local pro teaches Wounded Warriors in a program at a local club. He also gives donated clubs to the ones that can't afford clubs of their own. I donated my old gamers when I upgraded. As a vet myself it felt good to keep helping my brothers. I encourage everyone with an old set in their garage to search out a program like this.
