Strangest putter I have ever seen...

So I was wandering around the rescue mission with my wife looking for old furniture to restore and found this odd looking putter... I didn't buy it, but I might if it's still there next week. I tried looking online for info about it, but couldn't find a thing

 

 

I did find an eBay auction for a VINTAGE SIMMONS GREAT WHITE PUTTER

 

 

Does anyone here know anything about these, they seemed pretty interesting...

One of the guys on my golf team in college played one of these and it was affectionately referred to as the gay blade. Don't know much of the history on these but I watched him drop a heck of a lot of putts with it over the years and I would guess the he took about 50 times the value of the putter off me in money games.

Haha that reminds me of the older Ping half moon styled putter. That thing was HUGE!! But ud always hit ur line!!

We had acouple of those around the old golf store I may still have them in my storage warehouse I will check in a couple of days. I dont want to get out today because it is snowing here at the beach
