Kenny B
I'm jealous of you right now. This time of year here in Tennessee it still reaches 90+ degrees, which is rough to play in. I love playing once the weather cools and often will until the temps get below 40. I love the fact that the courses become less crowded and I'm not sweating profusely. Sent from my SM-G955U using MyGolfSpy mobile app I remember fall being pretty nice in Knoxville. sirchunksalot 1 Quote “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”

PING Apologist #9
I'd say fall is the best time around here too. The only negatives would be all of the migrating geese and falling leaves can both make a mess of things and add to the difficulty of finding your ball...even if it is a good shot! StrokerAce
This is the closest topic I could find to fall golfing. There is a 3 to 4 week window where it is absolutely stunning. It's a canvas of gorgeous colors with the foliage, blue sky, green fairways... never gets old. Do you have some fav pics? I played Crumpin-Fox in northern MA at the end of October. It was probably a week past peak but the temps were in the 70s and it was worth the 1.5 hour drive there. I need to get some traveling done once the kids are a little bigger to enjoy the color changes that Fall brings to a lot of y'all! Oh and play some of these courses too! I wish we got the color changes. I mean we get color changes but thats just going from over 100 and the fairways are brown and half dead to some rain and it greens up overnight! haha Oh, and we also get the lovely yellow dust clouds from the cedar trees trying to kill everyone. In all reality, I'm fortunate to be able to play pretty much all year long, but have enjoyed seeing all the photos from so many of yall. I was in McAllen a few years ago and played some courses in the area and it was pretty cool but there isn't a lot of "change" that seems to happen. i.e. the grass is either green or it's not. some people like Ocean courses and some like parkland. I've played both and I'm probably more of a parkland player. I'd love to play Michigan/Wisconsin area during the fall - some of those course look amazing.
