PAgolfer2017
Traveling to San Antonio and staying at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa. I'll get in the evening of October 11 and am free the 12th and 13th in the am for early rounds. Checked out the resort and it's $250/round. Not necessarily looking to spend that much but wouldn't mind having someone to play with in the area. I may or may not have a car but anyone in that area free and want to get out for a round/have suggestions on courses that might be close? PMookie
I tried this a couple times, reaching-out to get someone to play, and it never got any responses. I've played The Quarry there and really enjoyed it! I was put with 3 guys my first time there, and the last time I was in-town, I called them and we all played again. Fun course! I did play the TPC and didn't find it worth the money... It's a tough course, but I caught it on a day with 20mph winds, and playing behind a members tournament. Twilight rates are a little more respectable. There's also the course where they used to host the Valero. You can get on there for well under $100. I like it better than TPC personally. Driver: 0811XF Gen 2. 9 degrees 5 Wood: F8 5/6. Second day I played was windy which made it a little difficult haha.Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy Bag: 4.5LS Driver: Stealth 9* w/ Aldila Red 60 Fairway: SIM 15* w/ Diamana 70 Fairway: GBB Heavenwood 19* w/ Fujikura Pro 72 Irons: p790 4-PW w/ C-Taper Lite 110s Wedge: MG3 50 & 54 Wedge: Hi-Toe 60* Putter: Spider X Ball: TP5 PIX
