This is it... the final weekend.  Who ya got?

Hard to bet against Rose but I'd love to see Keegan win.

Bryson, Keegan, and Finau.

Finau has been so consistent it isn't even funny. He might just hang around while some big names fold on Sunday.

Bryson and Keegan have been the hot hands coming in so you really can't bet against them either.

In all reality, there are only a few people up there that I wouldn't want to win.

My trifecta would be Brooks, Bryson and Dustin

Replace Bryson with almost anyone else, and I am with you. Not that I dislike Bryson, just others I'd rather see succeed.

I would still like to see them make this a 32 man field and then have them play match play to determine the winner.  Otherwise, this is simply another meaningless stroke play event with a guaranteed check, even for those that simply mail it in.

Honestly I think there is too much money in pro golf today.  These guys aren't even remotely hungry, and I think that's why we don't have any dominant players anymore.  They are all really good, but no one stands out anymore.  Make them hungry again, and I bet the cream rises to the top.

Not really a playoff unless it's match play, but match play with the wrong players at the end may not be good for TV.

Let's see... why don't we reward the players who won the most money during the season with more money.  Now that's sarcasm!

We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”

Feels like the world needs a Finau win so he can stop teasing everyone but I'm not sure this the course for him. Bryson with 10 mil on the line is a scary proposition. Couple that with the twitter post of him using two shot trackers, fully cleaning his club after every shot and having a coach dampen the balls to account for playing in the morning dew and this guy is gonna be science-ing his way to big paycheck I think.

Sort of reminds me with the way Belichick approaches coaching the New England Patriots.  He is so meticulous with details that he's alienated himself from the outside world and doesn't care either.  He's so one dimensional that he'll die coaching that team with very little life outside of New England.

I'm not suggesting this approach to anything is wrong, but I'm simply saying that it's not for me.  Variety is the spice of life.

This will be an interesting weekend for sure. You have the top 30 players from this season in the field, which means we will get really good golf from multiple players, and there are lots of story lines as well. Can Tiger win, can Phil win, Finau, Bryson, Rose. DJ, Bradley. There are so many what ifs, I like it. I've got to go with Rose. He's playing well, and he's won recently. Should be a good finish.

So glad Tiger is back. Like the leaderboard currently. TIGER and RICKIE at the top...

His comeback this year from start to finish is probably the most exceptional story.

Even moreso than Koepka

I was listening to PGA Tour radio today during the round, and I swear the announcers were obsessed with projected Fedex Cup rankings every 5 minutes. For crying out loud, it's Thursday. I mean, if you want to gush over the fact that Tiger Woods is projected at #1 halfway through everyone finishing their first round, have at it. But man, honestly, who cares. By Sunday it will most likely be totally different who is in the lead, and who is projected to win this thing. Can we at least show a few shots of golf, rather than spending 25 minutes of every 30 talking about how Tiger Woods is projected to finish in the Fedex Cup? I mean, it's beyond nauseating the level of coverage that Tiger gets in proportion to everything else.

That is the case with Tony Finau, because he is in the Top 5 coming in to this.  There are various scenarios where that plays out.

And if I am reading between the lines on your post, that is a HUGE problem with the way this thing is set up, which is why I think they are totally changing this thing up next year and awarding both the Tour Championship and the Fedex Cup to whomever wins the Tour Championship next year.  I think their way of doing it honestly is kind of stupid, or at least what they hinted at, by giving the top play a 10 stroke lead before they tee off, but whatever.  I would totally agree that awards and championships should be awarded based on someone actually winning a golf tournament.

I think their needs to be more point for wins. That would eliminate scenarios like Finau has, he played consistent but didn't win all year, then you have guys that have won 3 times that aren't in the top 5. Its really 6 of 1 half dozen of the other. You have to play well all season to be in that position. If he wins the TC that will give him a win, so technically he did win this season

I'm calling BS on Rickie's “numbers” shown on the screen on 16 today. It showed he had 162 ball speed (right at my average on TrackMan), and 295 CARRY! Hahahahahaha! Baloney. 275 is more like it! When I get 162 on TrackMan I might get 280 carry! 295 needs a few more MPH!!!!!
