The Pacific Northwest MyGolfSpy golf outing kicks off on Friday at Hangman Valley GC in Spokane, WA.  

Play continues on Saturday at the Kalispell Golf and Country Club, formerly Spokane CC.  

A couple of hardy players will play on Sunday at MeadowWood GC in Liberty Lake, WA.

The Pacific Northwest MyGolfSpy golf outing kicks off on Friday at Hangman Valley GC in Spokane, WA.  
Play continues on Saturday at the Kalispell Golf and Country Club, formerly Spokane CC.  
A couple of hardy players will play on Sunday at MeadowWood GC in Liberty Lake, WA.
 

I am sorry to have to miss this. Work will not quit this year.

I loved the old Spokane CC. Great layout.

MeadowWood still have that lake for a range? I remember standing on the 11th tee and trying to visualize a shot that lands on grass and all I could hear was balls splashing in the range to my immediate left.....

The lake for the driving range is Hangman Valley which is where we are playing on Friday.

The Coeur d'Alene Resort course also has a driving range out into the lake.

Sorry, you couldn't make it.

We have 5 people attending. And Friday evening reservations for us at Clickdagger restaurant.  In Kalispell tonight and will be in Spokane tomorrow.

MeadowWood also has a lake/water driving range.

Wish I could make it out but hopefully I can next year! Would love to have all of you out to Central Oregon

I haven't played MeadowWood.  Seems like driving range into water is popular in the Spokane/CdA area.

I would love to come down anytime!  My wife and I usually get there every year, but we missed this year because of life stuff.

Day 1 at Hangman Valley is now in the books.  It's fun meeting the on-line persona's in person. The weather was fantastic as was the company.

This is the first time I've used a range with a lake for a landing area.  Rob and I finished up our practice Thursday night trying to pitch into the funnel of the first fountain .  Onto Kalispel GC today...stay tuned for more updates.

First round over

 It was a great time and what was the best part of it was golfing with 4 other great guys. The company was awesome. I was hoping Ping Apologist would bring his hockey gear

Today was golfing at Kalispell G&CC. 

Beautiful course.  Temperature was a balmy 32C (90F ).

It was a wonderful golf outing with my new old friends, and I would be very happy to play again... anytime, anyplace!!  We need to do this again next year, and hopefully we can get a few more Spys to join us.

I'm already looking forward to next year and hope more of our regions spies can make it.  In addition to being a pretty central location, the Spokane area has some really nice courses.  The group is wanting to play Circling Raven and Qualchan next year .

I had a great time playing and meeting the lot of you. MeadowWood on the last day was the coolest temperature and fixyurdivot and I had our best rounds of the trip. After two days of having no memory of ever swinging an iron before in my life, a swing returned. I think fixyurdivot came in at 84  and I had a summer best 76.

After hitting his drive into the lake on #10 MeadowWood, @fixyurdivot hits his approach to 4 feet for par the hard way.

I had a blast hanging with all the Spies at Hangman Valley. It was a rippin' good time and I especially thank Bill (@fixyurdivot) for putting up with my disaster of a round Friday as I mucked up everything past hole #4. I suppose 3 pars to start the day was too much for the Golf Deities to handle from a hacker like me...sheesh!

Any how, here are a few pics I took...

Bill as a "reference" to the elevated #5 par-5 at Hangman.  My pathetic attempt of a drive dribbled into the giant valley below and well short of the fairway. Bill nailed a beauty here that I believe went just left into the rough.
