It was a wonderful golf outing with my new old friends, and I would be very happy to play again... anytime, anyplace!!  We need to do this again next year, and hopefully we can get a few more Spys to join us.

I'm already looking forward to next year and hope more of our regions spies can make it.  In addition to being a pretty central location, the Spokane area has some really nice courses.  The group is wanting to play Circling Raven and Qualchan next year .

I had a great time playing and meeting the lot of you. MeadowWood on the last day was the coolest temperature and fixyurdivot and I had our best rounds of the trip. After two days of having no memory of ever swinging an iron before in my life, a swing returned. I think fixyurdivot came in at 84  and I had a summer best 76.

After hitting his drive into the lake on #10 MeadowWood, @fixyurdivot hits his approach to 4 feet for par the hard way.

I had a blast hanging with all the Spies at Hangman Valley. It was a rippin' good time and I especially thank Bill (@fixyurdivot) for putting up with my disaster of a round Friday as I mucked up everything past hole #4. I suppose 3 pars to start the day was too much for the Golf Deities to handle from a hacker like me...sheesh!

Any how, here are a few pics I took...

Bill as a "reference" to the elevated #5 par-5 at Hangman.  My pathetic attempt of a drive dribbled into the giant valley below and well short of the fairway. Bill nailed a beauty here that I believe went just left into the rough.

Sunday's round at MeadowWood was really fun - what a great course!  Chris is a really fun guy to play golf with - unfortunate we live so far apart.  I did my best to keep up with him, but to no avail.  He had those PING irons dialed in very well. On the blind, uphill #17 par 3, he hit a gorgeous shot that, upon getting to the green, was only 8 inches from the hole...oh sooo close!

We've all suffered those days Rob.  I looked at the scorecard and I think the culprit may have been that ice cold FireBall following the first birdie .

She was adamant about it.

 

I could only drink half of it, glad I didn't have one before golf, I would have seen three golf balls, it was  sugar blended with sugar with some Caffeine thrown in. Wow.

Howdy Chris.  I'm definitely interested.  I think the Spokane location worked out well and offers a good selection of courses.  Hopefully a few others can join us.

Spokane worked well as a center for the people that came.  Luckily it's not that far for me, and I would be willing to go again.  

Depending on who wants to come, the "center" could change.  The question would be do we want a location that has other activities, or a dedicated golf location?  Spokane has many good courses and are reasonably priced.  A golf destination might have a couple of courses, and likely would be more expensive.

Maybe @DPattGolf could work us a deal in Bend, OR?
