Changing lofts by 1 or 2 degrees stronger, does it really make a difference on distance? And, does that weaken the bounce or strengthen it.

It makes less bounce. If the bounce was 8 it would become 6ish if you bent it 2°

As a general rule of thumb, one degree is 3 yards either way. So it would add about 6 yards of distance if you added 2°.
