RYDER CUP WEEK

We all have our opinions on why the US did so poorly at the Ryder Cup.  A lot of good reasons stated above.  But other than a couple of times over the last 20 years, we seems to have the same outcome so there must be a set of common factors.  Sure, we can say the Europeans played great, and the US played awful.  Those are two good reasons.

What we haven't heard is what the US Team thinks are the reasons.  Unless I missed it, no one is talking, and I doubt they will.  If anyone does, it will likely be Reed but that won't be helpful.  I would like to know what the US team thought about the course, their preparation, the teams, the matchups, even their own individual play.  I hope the Committee is looking at it and is already planning to improve in 2020, as well as trying to figure out how to compete on European soil.  It seems to me that they certainly need to do something different.

We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”
