Looks great. I am confused as well if it is hallow bodied like the i500. Love my iBlades, would take something special to replace. Would love to give them a try.

That didn't take long.  Are these supposedly smaller in club head shape than the i500?  Really surprising to see Ping add to the G400, i210 line up with hollow bodied alternatives in the G700, i500.  Maybe we see an iBlade replacement and these blueprint irons as a hollow body option?   I wonder how much of this if any was inspired by the Nike patents bought by Ping.

Agreed, that is the only thing missing from their lineup.

Ping's logic is;

Blade- marketable to <1% of golfers. 

Hollow club with goo- We'll say that anyone can play a club that looks like a blade but has 10¢ worth of goo in it and mark it up $500 from a blade. 

Marketable to 100% of gullible golfers.

Thats what I have heard smaller in profile than the I500.

IMHO these look fantastic. Way more player blade-y than the i500 and for some reason I never liked the look of the iblades. The plastic slot badge looked a little cheap. Absolutely no bearing on their playability obviously.

As for hollow head, I'm a believer now. Of course, there is this thread to explain it better... But I picked up a Titleist TMB 2 iron and it launches anywhere on the face.

It will be nice to see specs and such from PING. I'd say I prefer the look at of the i500 more, but will be great to see what more comes into the lineup. Seems like a lot of options and potential for blending sets.
Still prefer the i210 to them all
