russtopherb 5,801
Happy to see the Bruins head into the second round with a strong showing, especially after their play in games were such a letdown. They turned on the gas when it mattered. 2 Quote In my carry bag: Big Bertha Mini (the D7 is in time out) GBB 3W (lofted to 4W) V-Series Heavenwood Baffler XL 5i-PW CBX 54* iWedge 58* #10 Twitter: @russtopherb

I personally think this while PC thing is getting crazy and I’ll leave it at that. What a great analyst he is or I guess was. The best way I could explain is that Doc Emrick calls a game as if those watching had never seen a game before; he’s very pedagogical in his method. Gary Thorne‘a style was more seasoned and worked under a presumption that those watching had a basic concept of how hockey Is played. Here is one of my favorite Gary Thorne clips among many. Some of his best work is from the beloved annual playoff Red Wings and Avalanche series’ from 20 years ago 2 Quote PING G400 LST 8.5 Evenflow Black 65g 6.5 Mizuno HMB MP20 3i Nippon Modus 3 120S Ben Hogan PTx Combo Nippon Modus 3 120S Maltby TSW 52, 58 Nippon Modus Wedge Bettinardi BB8 Wide Oncore Elixr Western, NY 5.7 Index

I hated listening to him he was very biased toward the way it was when he played and you could tell he hated how skilled things are now. He was also comparing everything to the Bruins whether they played or not. 5 hours ago, bens197 said: He was a terrible GM and followed that act with his embarrassing rendition of a TV analyst. Clement does the flyers games and I enjoy it a lot he brings up things from older games and knows how to compare or bring it to today's knowledge or age groups.
tommc23 9,485
Flyers down 3-1 and so are the Aves two teams I had going to the cup. I'm 0 for 3 on my playoff bets I set at the mid point of the season. As a flyers fan they look flat and out played

As a flyers fan they look flat and out played A lot of times in that game the Flyers were chasing after the puck in their zone and always seemed a step behind.....two steps behind Barzal...I kept waiting for somebody to put a body on him but it never happened. The other frustrating thing watching it was the many times the Flyers didn't have somebody in front of the net on offense. The goals they scored had somebody there but it seemed too many other chances the third forward was too far out from the net or toward the boards...especially the second period. 2 Quote Modern Bag: Ping G410+ 9*, Accra TourZ X265 M5; Callaway Mavrik 16.5* 4W, EvenFlow Riptide 6.0 S 70g; Mizuno JPX 919 HMP 4i, PX LZ 6.0; Mizuno JPX 900 Forged 5 - PW, PX LZ 6.0; Cleveland Tour Action 49*, 53*, 57*; PX LZ 6.5 ; Ping Heppler Fetch; Ball - Snell MTB-X; Bag - Sun Mountain H2NO Classic Bag: Driver - Wilson Staff Persimmon; 3w - Hogan Speed Slot; 5w - Wilson Staff Tour Block; 3 - pw - Staff Dynapower; sw - Ram Tom Watson; putter - bullseye standard or flange. tommc23 9,485
Yea they honestly deserve to lose the series they are only putting in 20 minutes tops can't play a full 60
ejgaudette 891
Crazy all the series moving to 3 - 1, very unfortunate as a Bruins fan. I have no idea why they are keeping Nick Ritchie in the line up. With the year on the line the guy take 2 bad penalties and just does not have enough skill to be on a line with Coyle. Tampa is a better team for sure so it was going to be a tough series but the mistakes have just been killer. Would have loved it to be more competitive. Also that Dallas and Aves series has been quite the goal scoring affair, not too much defense. Little late to the game but assuming all the 3 - 1 leads convert I would take Vegas and Tampa in the finals with Tampa taking the cup, but no saying it I am guaranteeing it won't happen. 1 Quote Follow My Super Speed Progress Here Cobra Speedzone Extreme 9° Mitshubishi Tensei AV Blue 65 Stiff Flex '07 Burner 15° Reax 50 Stiff Flex 816 H1 18° Fujikura Speeder HB 8.8 Stiff Flex 816 H1 21° Mitsubishi Diamana S+ Blue 70 Stiff Flex I500 5 - UW Red Dot Dynamic Gold S300 CG16 56°/12 Stock Traction Steel Wedge Flex Tour Action 60° 2 Dot Stock Traction Steel Wedge Flex Karsten Series Anser Super Stroke Mid-Slim 2.0 Right Handed
russtopherb 5,801
Yeah the Bruins have been outclassed since Game 1. If Tuukka was still here, I think it would be the same. Disappointing, but with an older core you can tell the layoff isn't helping their legs. Re: Milbury & JR - they were great hockey players. Guaranteed if he does retire, the Boo Hoo Tuukka Crew will be out in full force exclaiming what a great goalie he was, how they never wanted him to leave, etc when all the did was crap all over him while he was playing. 1 1 Quote In my carry bag: Big Bertha Mini (the D7 is in time out) GBB 3W (lofted to 4W) V-Series Heavenwood Baffler XL 5i-PW CBX 54* iWedge 58* #10 Twitter: @russtopherb
tommc23 9,485
Somehow the flyers won a game yet they still tried to blow it. I still think the Islanders will win the series they are the better team, but I'm glad they showed some effort.
