Hmmm............. apparently executives need a different kind of rehab.... including golf.... because they are just so special compared to us regular Joes that just need a run of the mill rehab center, without golf. Who knew that golf was a critical element to getting sober!? This guy has never played golf with me and my buddies! 😂

My curious side had me looking at what type of golf facilities this place had.  The search went went downhill really, fast! 🙄

Now it could be just coincidence that there are two John Kahal's living at Dana Point - who are also associated with Drug & Alcohol Treatment.

Really?!? I don't know whether this is funny or not. (It is!) This is ... interesting.

I would have at least expected this to be a legitimate place.

I guess I am too trusting.

It could be totally legit and merely a coincidence.  I'm likely to shoot a 67 next time out. 😉

I was just a drunk, I was not an alcoholic; alcoholics go to the meetings.

You haven't been reading that thread recently. You can now sign up to win a free 2018 Odyssey Driver. Same requirements apply, need SS# and bank info to qualify.

      Hello there!
Since there aren’t near ranges where I live and courses memberships and fees are expensive, I have searched for alternatives.
Found the famous Birdie balls and the Almost Golf Balls and yesterday I came across this new ball: Sci-Core practice ball: here’s a link to a video of them: https://youtu.be/sjVC1mCJEF4
I have to admit they look good at least. They seem to be similar to the Almost Golf Balls.
Has anyone from this forum tried them? Would love to see your reviews and experiences

While at the PGA Show I had the opportunity to stop by the Under Armour Golf booth and check out all the latest in it's line of apparel, shoes and accessories.   I made off with these two cool pair of shades that we are giving away to two lucky forum members.   To be eligible, you have to be a forum member.   Then it's a simple as posting below which model you would prefer.
      1) Big Shot Tuned Golf ideal for wearing on the course during play
      2) Glimpse Tuned Recovery, designed to help your eyes de-stress after the round and return to a natural state,
Both can be used on the course and the Big Shot Golf Tuned is one of the few golf sunglasses that are officially rated safe for driving a vehicle.
So tell us below which one you would choose to win and Good Luck!!
Entries will be closed on Sunday February 3rd at 11:59 PM EST   The two winners will be announced in this thread by Tuesday February 5, 2019.

Thanks everyone for the great response to this giveaway.
Congratulations to our two winners:  Please send me a PM with your mailing address.

So this was just a random off the wall topic today, that became quite an interesting discussion, with some sides and view points i didn't think of initially.  Say  the magic Golf Genie were to grant you ONE wish, you could have 25 more yards on every drive, or a guarantee drop of 3 strokes for each round.   Which would you choose, and most importantly why?
Remember to vote in the poll.  I guess app and TT users won't be able to see it.

      Hey guys,

We have recently taken up golf and are now on a very tongue-in-cheek journey to becoming scratch golfers. Don’t worry, we’re closer to landing on the moon at this rate.

We document each round and would love to hear any feedback, tips or if anyone else around London/Essex wants to play.

Our latest video is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6K8KtmpGbA

Check it out, if you can!
