Matt Saternus
Those Gauge Designs are sharp...like, put your eye out sharp. My favorites are the Mizuno MP-67's, though I'm also rather partial to these oldies: Quote Follow me on Twitter: @MattSaternus

SPY VIP GolfSpy_X Posted March 2, 2010 Author SPY VIP Share Posted March 2, 2010 Got one of the Vega's up there Robbo. Geotech and Royal Collection makes some nice looking heads but Geotech uses mostly open models overseas and those RC's are an open model and have been done by almost everyone. I tried to make a mix of classics and unique ones in this list. My favorite thread so far on MGS. I love the Mizuno Irons but how about Vega, Geotech, Royal Collection. Specs
Gauge Design are just classy, simple yet unique sticks. Never hit a single product of there's but would love too. Quote KWheels
Golfware
Those Gauge Design blades are unreal. I had the 300 Forged and they were very nice. The Mizuno's are classics too.. especially the MP-33's. I think the Nickent ARC's are the easiest to hit. Quote Current bag: Some Callaway, some Cleveland. Down to 2 OEM's!

SPY VIP GolfSpy_X Posted March 2, 2010 Author SPY VIP Share Posted March 2, 2010 Looks wise the Gauge Design Japan's are my favs but they are not a good set of sticks. But damn good to look at. The actual design of them is not good. Not much R&D went into them other then drawing up something that looked cool. Those Gauge Design blades are unreal. I had the 300 Forged and they were very nice. The Mizuno's are classics too.. especially the MP-33's. I think the Nickent ARC's are the easiest to hit. SPY VIP GolfSpy_X Posted March 2, 2010 Author SPY VIP Share Posted March 2, 2010 That is Gauge Design Japan not Gauge Design US. Huge difference. I am sure that story will get told on here before too long. Gauge Design are just classy, simple yet unique sticks. Never hit a single product of there's but would love too. Golfware
That is Gauge Design Japan not Gauge Design US. Huge difference. I am sure that story will get told on here before too long. Interesting. I've only known Gauge Design Japan, which makes some primo stuff. Didn't know there was a GD USA. Quote Current bag: Some Callaway, some Cleveland. Down to 2 OEM's! SPY VIP GolfSpy_X Posted March 2, 2010 Author SPY VIP Share Posted March 2, 2010 Well Gauge Design Japan does makes some primo LOOKING stuff but has a bad rap overseas because of...well for many owner issues in the past. And their designs do look great but many are not too sound design wise and seem to be somewhat misleading on materials as well sometimes from what we have found. Gauge Design US was actually around first and is run by David Whitlam. It is such a confusing and unfortunate story. But just on looks alone I think that the Gauge Design is a favorite for sure. Hopefully David will join the forum and clear this up on here like he has other forums. It really hurt his brand. Interesting. I've only known Gauge Design Japan, which makes some primo stuff. Didn't know there was a GD USA. Quote #TruthDigest

jamo
This may sound crazy, but I really like the looks of the Nike MachSpeed irons. They look like the designers are big Transformers fans.
TWShoot67
I would trade just about every set I own for that set of Titleist 681's with the T 127/500 Miura forged set. I blew it about 2 years ago I missed a set almost New condition that went for under 600.00. I was out bid by a SNIPER! I cried like a little baby for two days. Tim One of my sets I wish I never sold! But at least I still have a very similar set with a few differences, color, grind and above set is Coin Forged as this is just forged but both done by Miura! Here's another beautiful simple blade.
