ShotScope Leaderboard for MGS Now Available

But i thought I'd share a quick bit of news with everyone, knowing we have a fair amount of Shotscope users on here.

They now have a MyGolfSPY leader board available.  it will be a way for all MGS Shotscope users to have some fun, and who knows maybe some prizes in addition bragging rights,  if there is enough participation and interest.  Again much more detailed info will come in the Blog, but here's some screen shots of what it'll look like.

You can access it on your dashboard and the code to join the MGS leaderboard is MYGSPY

I saw this and I was still undecided as to which system to get ,but this will definitely  tip the scales towards Shotscope.  This is great news and a good way of getting some friendly competition and banter with the MGS group. I applaud this

Was gonna go back to Game Golf after ditching Arccos, but now these guys have me thinking... Plus, I do kind of miss my GPS watch even though I have a laser now. It really comes in handy when out of position and hitting into a green blind. Maybe, just maybe...

FWIW, I will say the watch wasn't an issue at all for me.  I had used the Garmin X40 and the Precision Pro GPS Band before this, and was a bit concerned, but after the first few holes with it, I forgot it was there.

Alright well I'm signed up. Although the golf season is coming to a close here in the Midwest. But it'll be fun to play along next year.

I purchased one last June on sale.  For the price with all the features it's a good deal and it is fun to use but it hasn't lowered my handicap.

On another note, I can already see problems with the leader boards. The longest drive for instance is 477.99 meters or 523 yards and was hit by a 19 handicap. I am 53rd world wide with a 301 meter/329 yard down hill bomb. If people don't bother to edit their rounds there is no point trying to run competitions based on this.

Oh well the MGS leader board is far more realistic so you can ignore my rant
