2018's PGA Shot of the Year

So many to choose from but this one get's my vote.  What's your choice?

Dufner's #5 on this hit list is the best IMO.  They don't even include my #1 above. Sure, holing out a shot gets high points, by I think shots like Phil's "off the the pine straw and around the tree", or Woods "shot in the dark", or "Bill Haas's out of the water" are more amazing.

Not from 2018, but stumbled on this one while looking at others.  HOLY CRAPPOLA!  If you know of a better one, ever, I want to see it.  You know things are going your way if this happens.

Yep, to me it begins and ends with that drive!  Just incredible.   Oh by the way, we sold two M4's in the shop that week.  So those who say the "average consumer" not golf forum readers are not swayed by what the pros play..are dead wrong.   They specifically came in and asked for "The driver Dustin Johnson is using" I know foolish to think they are gong to get the same results, but that's the power of marketing and TaylorMade does it very well!

I don’t think that drive was all that impressive. Down hill,  down wind and the ball rolled for half a mile. He hit it on a good line. Not impressive at all to me.

That hole consistently produces “400 yard drives”.......

I think JT's number 2 is the best. It may not be the best shot if you rank by difficulty but when you factor in that he is coming down the 18th on Sunday with a chance to win, it has to be the best. He HAD to make it, and he did. 

 The only thing that could make it undebatable would be if he won the playoff.

Hate to keep jocking DJ but we've gotta consider this shot. I think it's better than the drive. 

 

 

 

He only needed par (maybe even bogey) to win but that's a heck of a way to slam the door on a tournament. Even more impressive that it's from 171.
