His bag setup especially irons and wedges would have one think he was more amateur than pro. He continues to play more forgiving irons set wedges.

Example of why you play what works and don’t get wrapped up in what you should play because you are a certain handicap.

Totally agree. I've never seen a set of SGI irons and said, "Boy, those are sexy." Although they are getting better looking all the time it seems. We all want to play or wish we played "sexy" irons-blades don't we? Sexy! My Wishon irons are 771csi and although Wishon doesn't categorize them in any particular way (GI or SGI) I'd say they are "game improving" to a certain degree as they are all cavity-back (except wedges) and slightly offset. Are they sexy? Not particularly. But they are good looking I think from all angles. Especially at address. As I continue aging I'll probably also change my selection of clubs; meaning to a more GI or SGI iron. It all depends. But I will change if it means continuing to play well and my enjoyment of the game.

Like many of you I see guys all the time playing irons that are ill suited to their skill level. I'm certain without them doing anything other than changing their iron selection to something more forgiving... their game would improve overnight. And... their overall enjoyment.

I don't know, those Cleveland VAS irons were pretty sexy......😄😄

I do think that Westwood's bag is a perfect example of play what works for you and don't worry about what handicap you are. If the more forgiving irons allow him to shoot a lower score, that is what he should play. This is a piece of advice ALL golfers should take.
