Looks amazing, how's the glare from the sun? I'm going to give the ER2.2 (is that what they're going to call it?) a roll when it drops to see if a plumbers neck suits my stroke better, and I'd like to ship it straight to someone to finish rather than all the way to Hawaii and then back out. The finish on my current ER2 literally blinds me. I don't like wearing my shades while putting but I actually can't with the sun lasering me eyes like a reverse Cyclops from X-Men.

Almost done, now let it dry and then do a final clean up on the residue, looks murdered it to me, like it better than plain, how about you guys?

Thanks man,No glare , tbh that's the beauty of the dlc black it's not real shiney but not as black as oxide

If you do decide I don't mind getting it done, but only if it's new I don't really refinish putters with dings etc.

Very nice and Welcome to the DLC Evnroll club! Like JLukes, I also have an ER2 that has been refinished with DLC. 

 

Note: putter now sports a White P2 Aware Tour grip

er1.2 now firmly on my radar for this season, especially as I now play a Ping anser 2 which I like the sound and feel from it, but its a bit light and offcentre hits come up way short.

This DLC black just sealed the deal. Just need to see how to get it done in the UK to that same standard.

 

p.s what does DLC mean?  (Thicko Mcthick here, sorry)

Diamond-Like Carbon Coating (DLC) is the ultimate performance coating, offering a wear-resistant chemical barrier for metal, ceramic, glass, and plastic, normally deposited at temperatures below 150°C.

Finding a place to DLC here seems extremely unlikely though which is a shame.

DLC done right does not change the sound or feel at all.  It is a chemical process more than a coating.  Typical DLC coatings are less than 5 microns thick

If you are getting the putter in the states ,if you wanted you can have them ship it to me and I can get it dlc coated for you and I will strip it like I did mine and remove the shaft for you as well,I don't mind helping you out
