Sluggo42
I haven't hit anything Cobra since I'm a Ping/Callaway guy. My G400 LST will stay in my bag for until something really fantastic can knock it out- probably a few years out still. But my 3-wood is an 816 so its almost 3 years old, and the f8s get good reviews so maybe. russtopherb
I've still got the F6 in the bag and it's been treating me fine. I love the looks of the F9 but I'll probably hold off until at least springtime to think about trying it out. Cobra drivers are always a solid buy, no matter the line. TR1PTIK
I've not ever tried any Cobra clubs, but have been looking at them more and more ever since they started producing the F6 drivers and forged combo irons. I'm not sure what to make of the new F9 based on pictures. The "speedback" design looks a bit grotesque in some images, but I imagine it'd be far less so in person. I couldn't do the yellow and black though - too flashy for me - I'd have to go with the white. tony@CIC
Shame on me for not paying attention to the Cobra video. I was originally planning on buying an F-8 wood over the winter - Didn't realize that F-9 wood was part of the introduction. I'm going to have save a few more pennies because I MUST have that F-9 wood in yellow!!! Wish I could afford the F-9 driver ( in yellow of course) but just bought that Callaway GBB and I think SWMBO would have a problem with my having three drivers (G-20, GBB and the F-9) 808nation, MaxEntropy and fozcycle 3 Quote Left Hand orientation SIM 2 D Max with Fujikura Air Speeder Shaft Cobra Radspeed 3W/RIptide Shaft 410 Hybrids 22*, 26* Cobra Speed Zone 6-GP/Recoil ESX 460 F3 Shafts SM7 54* Wedge Glide 3.0 60* Wedge O Works putter V3 NX9-HD - 4 Wheel EZGO TXT 48v cart - too many shoes to list and so many to buy And BAG Boy Golf Balls: Vice Pro Plus 2020 Official Tester Beginning Driver Speed - 78 2019 Official Tester 410 Driver 2018 Official Tester C300

It added mass where needed to ensure all drivers were the same weight and used the same shaft in every head. Under the same force, the KING F9 SPEEDBACK was a bit faster than M4, faster still than G400, and about 1.5 MPH faster than the Callaway Rogue. Mind you, this test was force equivalent to 120 MPH of head speed, so the differences are more pronounced than the average golfer should reasonably expect. NiftyNiblick
Lot of low spin stuff on the driver market. Adds yards for the better players. Reduces both carry and accuracy for more typical players. There are, in my opinion, a lot of players out there carrying two or three extra points on their indexes because they have such a superficial understanding of equipment. And the players who don't have indexes are even more likely to bag inappropriate clubs. Fitting doesn't necessarily correct that. Most fitters aren't Class A PGA teaching professionals. They're primarily salesmen who won't tell you too much of what you don't want to hear. They'll show you the speed 45½" of shaft gives you without comparing mishits to 43" of shaft. Low spin drivers today aren’t the sldr low spin type and you can manipulate launch and spin with any of the drivers out today with loft. Unfortunately most recreational golfers(mainly males) won’t play a driver that says 12* or higher due to their ego. Last year I let a buddy hit my 11* driver at the time and he just crushed it. He then proceeded to look at the loft and said it had to much loft for him. He needed 8* or lower and I just laughed at him. When we went up to the balls he was 30yds longer with my driver. He looked at me and goes, “just imagine how far I would have hit it if it was 8*!”Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy tony@CIC, GB13, Golfspy_CG2 and 2 others 5 Quote What is in my Sun Mountain C-130 bag or Jones MyGolfSpy bag Driver: Dark speed LS 8* set to -1.5* with an Attas Daaas 4x shaft @ 45” Fairway: F85 3 wood with a XPhplexx Agera X @ 42.5” F85 5 wood with a UST Elements Chrome 7F5 @ 41.5" Driving Iron: Rapture 2-Iron Irons: SMS Pros 4-PW with Steelfiber I95s Wedges: SMS 50* T grind with Steelfiber i110s Glide 4.0 46* zz wedge shaft Glide 4.0 E grind 54* zz wedge shaft Putters: Mezz.1 34” 69* lie EV5.1 black 33.5” 69* lie
