null
There's a lot of buzz with about Mizuno's new drivers. Mizuno expects that their staffers will opt to game Mizuno metal woods rather than going for another driver. Have you demoed the new Mizuno drivers or are you gaming one? Use this thread to talk about them! https://mygolfspy.com/2019-mizuno-st190-st190g-drivers/ mbrodeur86 and JohnSmalls
Golfspy_CG2
Have seen them in hand from the rep, but didnt' get a chance to hit them. But they look fantastic, and he said the guys who have tried them in Europe and a few in the US on Tour plan on putting them in the bag in 2019. Will definitely be waiting in line at the PGA Show demo day to give them a try. mbrodeur86 and null 2 Quote G430 Max 10K TSiR1 15.0 Aldlia Ascent 60g TSR2 18.0 PX Aldila Ascent 6og TSi1 20 Aldila Ascent Shafts R T350 5-GW SteelFiber I80 SM10 48F/54M and58K S159 48S/52S/56W/60B Select 5.5 Flowback 35" ProV1 Play number

jayjay0808
I myself played the JPX 850 Driver and have to say the thing was a flat out bomber. Throw in the Tour Spec Speeder that came stock and it was well worth the price. My only complaint was that it wasn't as forgiving as the other drivers on the market. Berg Ryman
So, I was really the only one of the four of us selected for last year's ST180 testing to get along with the club in a big way, so I love my Mizuno driver and if the ST190 is an upgrade, it's a hell of bomber. I don't see the need to upgrade myself and I actually prefer the blue over the black, but the tech is legit. I wouldn't be shocked to see a jump up for those with Mizuno irons to make the switch to a Mizzy driver. PMookie
The ST180 had some dead spots on the face, so lost yardage was significant when not hit in the center of the face. I found last year's model was a hook machine, and I struggled to deliver loft to it (and I had a higher lofted model than my gamer). So in reality they might be bringing it back to the middle, or making an exaggerated change from last year (assuming you can mitigate the face angle with the adjustable weights they added as well). Jwadds19
To me, I feel like it is going to come down to the ST vs. the F9. With all of the positive buzz around these drivers, it definitely has me excited to hit them. I have hit most of the new stuff, and thus far the F9 has been the standout for me, and when you factor in the very reasonable price tag i am thinking its going to be hard to beat. Considering that the ST is going to fit into a similar price bracket, I am excited to see if it can keep up with the F9. Should be able to get my hands on one within a couple of weeks to give these two a good head to head. Really excited to hear the comment around the face sitting open at address.
