100% Handmade

Hi, Merry X-mas!

This is my first post, and its inspired by some beautiful handmade putters I've just been drooling over.

Forgive the crappy pictures, they're from a few years ago and all i've got.

This is the first putter I ever made. I used a grinder, a welder and some files. I trued the face on a piece of glass with some emery paper.

This is my second attempt

This was made by hand, and is one-piece. It was roughed out with an oxy-acetylene torch. I wanted to mill the face so bad I got a manual machine and did it.

There they are, and its not rocket surgery! I'd love to see more people making their own.

Metal and tools. Metal is cheap, tools aren't. Just have to find tools you like using and are comfortable with.

I'm going to pick up a piece of metal for my first putter tomorrow.
