So a forum member took me up on the offer and made it to the 5 PM service all the way from Rhode Island -

 

Okay so maybe he was here for some R and R with his family on the beach but it truly was great to see Barbajo and his beautiful bride and daughter this evening - the boys ran out before I could meet them which somehow seems appropriate - exactly what my boys would do. 

 

It was a wonderful service Rev and we were thrilled to be there.

 

I wish you could have seen the look on your face when you figured out it was me during the reception line!

 

Great to see you and thank you for the wonderful Christmas memory!!

Pressure situation for me Barbajo - I have all these people coming at me - lots of them are young adults that I had in school and haven’t seen in years. I think I succeeded in remembering everyone’s name! I should have caught Genniveve (sp) as your daughter - such a lovely and unique name. She has the small to match it.

I actually had 6 couples at that service (that I know of) that I married. I had at least one couple at every service this entire weekend.

One of my best Christmases ever and I got this from my wife.
