PutterLounge.com
My Golf Spy'ers.... Need your opinion, what are your thoughts on White Ferrules? We are expanding in to the wedge / premium iron market and evaluating in house components. We are really digging the customization options with color ferrules from Cell Parts. Being that you all are golf club degenerates, we value your opinion even if your wife does not. bcgolf
That's all just personal opinion. I for one don't like white ferrules, but I don't like white grips either. I just bought blue grips though. So maybe for Mizuno players, who dig the Mizuno blue, it would be nice to pimp their irons with blue grip and blue ferrules ? SPY VIP Tony Covey MGS Posted January 4, 2011 SPY VIP Share Posted January 4, 2011 Absolutely. I have white ferrules on my Miura CB-501s. The fitter volunteered to "pimp them out". I left everything to his discretion, and while I wasn't sure about them at first, I now love them. He also chose lime green grips, which I love just as much, if not more. Super Tuna
I like the white but I'm a fan of matching the ferrules to the grips or graphics anyways so it's not hard to convince me. Foz: Maybe I'm alone here but the flashier my clubs get, the more confident I am standing over them. So yes, funky ferrules, grips, paint fills or shaft coatings does increase performance. Sort of like if you made your clubs look like Fowlers wardrobe, but less orange (Tropicana really needs to take a sponsorship with him) I laught at your claims to fight a zombie apocalypse when most of you can't stand up to a Spider

indacup
We always match the Ferrules to the shaft because if you match them to the grip, and change grip color you'll need to take apart the clubs to get a matching ferrule. Whereas, if you change the shaft, you gotta change the ferrule anyway.
RookieBlue7
I like to just put white grips on and make sure the ferrule has a matching ring. I have red with black and silver ringed ferrules on my MP-37's and red Golf Pride BCT Cords. I still like the white grips and lime better.
