Gonna play the scheduling by ear. I started tickets with Fantrax to ensure they've fixed the problem before we go back for more. This division already had scheduling issues for a weekday so I'm thinking Friday or Saturday to give us time to work it out.

Ok, the pre rankings for Digest went away when I undid the draft. To boot, it restarted immediately instead of waiting for the 940pm time I set. Not gonna push it any harder, the Digest draft is off for tonight. We'll reschedule for another day, have a nice night everyone. 
 
On the plus side, Truth had a successful draft with no issues whatsoever. [emoji51]

“Prerankings went away...” Does that mean we have to go back in and redo our entire ranked list that we had set up? Tell me that answer is “no”, please.
BTW: I despise this website. Absolute trash.

I didn't set pre rankings, but yes I hope they come back too. That's part of my request to them to restore the homework that was done. 

 

The website is fine for week in week out operation and the customization options are fairly deep but this draft situation is really wearing thin. It's unfortunate that they're the only game in town for these mega leagues. Gonna have to take a hard look when football season comes around.

Still better than the fantasy football auto draft where I ended up with 7 kickers.

To those who are concerned about Fantrax the same draft issues happened with the football league.  Once that was ironed out everything was very smooth for the rest of the season.  Our commissioners will figure it out.

No, Truth is going to remain as-is. Good job getting them collars! 

 

I'm getting pretty close to a resolution on Digest so I'll post an announcement when we're there. How does a Saturday re-draft work for everyone?

I have 4 little ones at home so the later the better.  I can rank players if others need it in the middle of the day.

Depends on the time Saturday, but if nothing else I can pre-rank my players again and set it to auto draft.

OK. We should be square now. Here's what we've got:

1) The Truth division draft is locked in and your rosters will not change.

2) The Digest draft has been rolled back again.

3) New draft for Digest is Feb 2 @9pm EST

4) Previous pre-rankings should be restored. I didn't do mine so can someone please test this one? 

I know it's frustrating to have these issues but there is a noble cause here that we're helping them improve their platform. I don't expect any further issues once we get the rosters set. As others can attest, the seasons have gone smoothly thus far. 

 

Lastly, I wanted to add in a nice little message from the Fantrax team.  

"You and your league members have been awesome, not just in your detailed bug reporting, but your patience for using such an early beta function, so thanks for that! We would like to offer you some credits, but golf doesn't have any fees since all premium leagues are free. If you (or others in your league) are interested in setting up league(s) in other sports, let us know and we will waive the fees for those."

An extremely generous offer.  Might I suggest you set up (I volunteer to help if needed) a golfspy forum fantasy league for another sport using this offer?  Maybe baseball or college basketball if there’s such a thing in March or save it until football.
