Just my obeservation here-

Courses in the spring are usually wetter than over the summer. That might be why they lost distance. DJ etc, aren't getting the rollout they did during the end of last year. If we are going to compare data in that manner, we need to remove variables, and there are way too many variables in your example.

It was a ROUGH observation... lets not be too critical here.

Im in the process of getting fit for a new driver tmrw. Always preferred TM clubs so will be leaning towards those of course. Seem to have hit them well in demos. More consistently than any other new driver.

Right now I avg like 225yds with a TM R1. I hit the M5/M6 abt 245 consistently in the monitor and hit the M3 250-260...

Did a lil "research". I looked at the driving performance #'s from Rory, DJ, Tiger, and Rahm; nearly all of them lost 5-10yds distance using the new drivers than last years M3/M4... Accuracy was +/- 5%. Maybe this does not correlate BUT those guys get paid to use the latest equipment BUT does not mean they are the best clubs. Just some food for thought.

Are you comparing course for course and the courses in the same condition?

Go to TM’s YouTube channel and see how far they are hitting it.

While 5-10 yards isn’t nuch for tour pros even they aren’t going to change something that gives them less distance in an era where on tour the longer you are the better your scoring will be

I sold my M5 as the spin was too low for my swing speed. Different strokes for different folks.

repeat... this is a VERY GENERAL statement of difference. I looked at each players driving distance for 2018 and 2019 and there was a 5-10yd difference for each. No clue on course conditions, altitude, health, forecast, blah blah.

That’s like comparing apples and oranges. Not comparing like for like and using an entire season vs a few events of the current season

Was able to take a few minutes and hit a few balls into the 'yonder' the other night. Never really had a preference on sound for drivers but i have come to LOVE the sound of the new M6.

I honestly feel like the twistface technology works too. My mishits still work well.

I tested the M5 at 8.5* in XS shaft set for a slight draw. I hit it well. I felt like I was losing it less to the right. Good sound and feel. Someone really couldn't go wrong with the M5. I haven't hit the M6.

Great drivers if you can deal with the look and the thud sound. I like more of a crack sound and a simple look at address.

I ordered a M6 today!!

It was for our Superintendent, but I ordered it 😎

The best thing is he tried my Fujikura Pro 2.0 in my JGR and really liked it.   So he ordered it in that shaft.

So I will be able to demo it before committing 😳

Ron did you get to hit the M6?  I am curious as to how this driver performs.
