That might be why they lost distance. DJ etc, aren't getting the rollout they did during the end of last year. If we are going to compare data in that manner, we need to remove variables, and there are way too many variables in your example. It was a ROUGH observation... lets not be too critical here. Always preferred TM clubs so will be leaning towards those of course. Seem to have hit them well in demos. More consistently than any other new driver. Right now I avg like 225yds with a TM R1. I hit the M5/M6 abt 245 consistently in the monitor and hit the M3 250-260... Did a lil "research". I looked at the driving performance #'s from Rory, DJ, Tiger, and Rahm; nearly all of them lost 5-10yds distance using the new drivers than last years M3/M4... Accuracy was +/- 5%. Maybe this does not correlate BUT those guys get paid to use the latest equipment BUT does not mean they are the best clubs. Just some food for thought. Are you comparing course for course and the courses in the same condition? Go to TM’s YouTube channel and see how far they are hitting it. While 5-10 yards isn’t nuch for tour pros even they aren’t going to change something that gives them less distance in an era where on tour the longer you are the better your scoring will be Quote Driver: PXG 0811 X+ Proto w/UST Helium 5F4 Wood: TaylorMade M5 5W w/Accra TZ5 +1/2”, TaylorMade Sim 3W w/Aldila rogue white Hybrid: PXG Gen2 22* w/AD hybrid Irons: PXG Gen3 0311T w/Nippon modus 120 Wedges: TaylorMade MG2 50*, Tiger grind 56/60 Putter: Scotty Caemeron Super Rat1 Ball: Titleist Prov1

JonMUSC08
Was able to take a few minutes and hit a few balls into the 'yonder' the other night. Never really had a preference on sound for drivers but i have come to LOVE the sound of the new M6. I honestly feel like the twistface technology works too. My mishits still work well. sirchunksalot, Smellis745 and JohnSmalls 3 Quote Charleston, SC HDCP 13.0 Driver: M6 9* with 65g Stiff Mitsubishi Tensei Red shaft 3 wood: G425 stiff shaft 5 wood: Stealth 2 stiff shaft 4-gw irons: JPX 921 Hot Metal w/ X-stiff KBS 130gr shafts (soft stepped) Wedges: MG3 52, 56, 60 Putter: 34" Scotty Cameron 12.5 Ball: ProV-1x Tracked By: MGS Tester '20 - G710 Iron Review MGS Tester '19 - Precision Pro NX9 HD Pro laser rangefinder
wipierce
I tested the M5 at 8.5* in XS shaft set for a slight draw. I hit it well. I felt like I was losing it less to the right.
