100 push ups a day

Been doing this for a year now. 130 today , and last set of 20 I hold chest to ground and count 1-2-3. Than up and do another rep.Some noticed huge changes, not much for me. Now if you can do 100 pull ups a day you will notice something amazing 
or do a set of Himylaian runners between each set. Or set of box squats. I can do this at work in the hallway with work uniform on 



I’ll be adding pull ups this week.

Some rowing.

And some golf specific moves.

Might try swimming too.

I’m saying that my running was my “gateway” into more involved fitness. I’ve always done a little here and there, but it’s time to take it more seriously.

Crushing it shanks, Where do you do pull ups at? do you go to a gym for this stuff? I would kill for a legit pull up bar at home, I'm too tall for the doorway ones unfortunately. 


We have a gym at work. But the house I’m renting has a high ceiling in the basement that I am going to use the floor joists for a bar at home.

I was slacking a bit today. Wasn’t going to do them. But then my 4 year old dared me to. So I did 150 instead.

They are getting easier. Stick with it! 8 days in, only several hundred more to go.

If you're on social media, check out Scott Stallings' Instagram push up post with the push up King, Hershel Walker. Walker even gives a good tutorial on how you can change the push up to train different parts of the body.

100?!? That's for young studs 😄

For me, 20 almost every day and anywhere from 50-100 situps. Plus stretching and a few yoga-like stretches, and cardio. Similar to Chisag enough to condition and tone and maintain a good level of fitness.

Suggest adding stretch band exercises to work the shoulder muscles in the opposing direction - ie. with pushups you're, of course, pushing away from your body so add something that's pulling from "away" towards your body.

So I have not been 100% every day this week as I’m just getting back into this, but I was able to do it 2 days this week.

Right now I’m breaking it up into 10 sets of 10 reps. I’m hoping that by February, I can have it down to 7 sets of 15 reps.

I alternate every other day on the push-ups and the total gym. Up to 50 on the push-ups. Plan on continuing progress every week til I hit 100

I do the 100 push ups plus on my off days when not going to the gym . When I go to the gym, I might do a quick set of 30 pushups getting the body loose. And no more than that,  and add maybe a set of 20 dips and some ab rollers. The big thing about the 100 push up challenge is watching form.I can do a quick set of 50 pushups at any time. But my form is garbage, stomach is low and chest never touches the ground.Try doing them feeling your entire body is rigid and doesn’t dip down in the middle. And breathe in from your stomach feeling tightness in your abs.Do the push-up slow and let your chest touch the ground keeping head up.If you can do 30-40 of these in one sitting doing that . You are truly an athletic person.That is a proper push-up. A hundred of these a day with slow rhythm good form will get one a upper body transformation in a few months time . And lean out that stomach area

I'm still at it but plateaued at 50. After reading the article I'm committed to increasing that # continuously.

Been trying alternative push ups and really noticing results now. I will do push-ups one legged (with one leg in the air) . Tried different tempos (slow - fast - and super slow ) . Combining over a 100 each time I go to the gym . And lifting weights for form not heavy weight is really working. My before photos from the fall to where I am now are real stunning. But more importantly, my endurance is way up.Ive been spending an 1.5 hrs to 2 hrs without pain .
