I only played Chrome Soft, and TM sent me 2 dozen TP5's for free when I ordered my M6 3 wood, and M6 hybrids. I will say I will only use these from now on. I was getting more distance off the tee with driver, and irons from the fairway. The short game spin and check is ridiculous. I will use what Chrome Soft's I have laying around, but primarily I'm now sold on these from now on. Just hoping they drop a yellow version soon.

I got a couple of free tp5x balls at a demo day.  Played one for the final 6 holes of my round.  Ball flight was higher for my long irons and driver which gave me the needed extra distance.  Not as soft on putts and chipping as the Callaway ball I was using but not enough difference to cause problems with either.

I will look at having a ball fitting later this season, the TM ball is currently top of my list.

Hybrid - Titleist TS2 21 degree

Mate of mine gave me a couple of TP5's to try and I have to say I was shocked at how badly the cover had scuffed up after 9 holes. Considering these are one of the most expensive balls durability is not great.

To put it in perspective, I can usually get 36-48 holes out of a Pro V1

Callaway Epic Flash 9 Degree

Callaway Epic Flash 3 wood 15 Degree

Callaway Apex 21 Hybrid 19 Degree

Callaway Steelhead Pro 4-AW Irons

Cleveland 54 Degree Wedge Steel Shaft

Recoil Graphite Shafts in all Callaway

Cobra Vintage Series Stingray 40

Preferred ball - Seed 001

I'm using the TP5x pix.  I'm surprised we're not hearing others switch to this specific pattern.  In my opinion, because the ball is distinctly marked it makes it far easier to find it.  I can tell from 20 feet before even walking up to a ball if its mine or not.  It definitely saves time.

When Chrome Soft was released I gave them a try and was hooked, then the Truvis was released and the world was a good place. I like the pattern as it makes it easier for me to focus on a spot and watching them spin and roll is a pleasure. Not to mention that they are great balls.

Reading ball testing reports I was a bit put off by inconsistencies in Callaway ball manufacture (an issue that they say that they have addressed) and decided to give the TP5x Pix a try as they seemed to be the perfect ball for me.

The unhappy ending is that when I finally received by two boxes, I had ordered TP5 pix and not TP5x. (brought from the USA by a friend). It’s a long way to get them back to the USA. So far they have been fine but, until I try the X, the Truvis stays.

You must have the older version....the current version is crazy good and never scuffs. Ive played 3 rounds with the same ball and it looks new.....

Not sure, he was given them for his birthday late last year. All I know was that when I hit a PW it left a mark. I should point out that I can put allot of spin on a ball.
