PAgolfer2017
Loved the old Apex hybrid. So easy to hit, and loved the look of it. Hybrid is something I don't carry yet, but if they've found a way to improve the old apex, this one is definitely high on my list. mdumble21 1 Quote Bag: 4.5LS Driver: Stealth 9* w/ Aldila Red 60 Fairway: SIM 15* w/ Diamana 70 Fairway: GBB Heavenwood 19* w/ Fujikura Pro 72 Irons: p790 4-PW w/ C-Taper Lite 110s Wedge: MG3 50 & 54 Wedge: Hi-Toe 60* Putter: Spider X Ball: TP5 PIX
gaussman1
Love the flatter lie angles for the hybrid. Not sure if I love it $269 but it's a welcome feature.Sent from my Pixel 3 using MyGolfSpy mobile app Quote Rogue SZ 10.5 *NEW* Fujikura Pro Green 65 X Rogue 15 degree Evnflow Blue 6.5 Back in the Bag Z765 4-G Nippon Modus 120 Stiff 54 and 60 Amazing Grace Ass Kicker
PMookie
I’m so used-to the XHot Pro I have, and I’m not sure I could hit a bigger hybrid. I bet these perform, though.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro Quote Driver: Ping G430 Max 9*, Ping Tour 70X Fairway: Ping G425 15*, Ping Tour 70X Hybrid: Ping G425 22*, Ping Tour 80X Irons: Ping i230 4-GW, TT DG X100 Wedges: SMS 50D/54V/58DModus 130 stiff, +1” Putter: EAS 1.0 Ball: Titleist 2023 AVX
mdumble21
I've been a big fan of the Apex hybrid since it came out. I used to have the X2 Hot 3 hybrid but was overdrawing it as my swing speed increased. Bought the OG Apex and loved it ever since. The only time it wasn't in my bag was when I got picked to test the i200s, I was given a 3 iron (I assumed the set would be 4-PW) so I used that for a while instead of the Apex. However, I later went back to the Apex and haven't looked back. Probably one of my most reliable clubs in the bag at the moment. I really like the look of the new hybrid but there are 3 things that worry me a bit: The glossy black finish - I really like the grey finish on mine (I'm not sure what kind of finish the original had - Matte?) The feel of the new one might be a firm, similar to the Rogue. I really like the softer feel of the original Apex. The bottom of the new club looks a bit busy with the addition of the Jailbreak bars and extra lettering - I know that this isn't really an issue like the other 2 points as you won't see the bottom of the club at address but it'll still be on my mind. I'll be definitely trying out the new hybrid, but it has to be pretty good to knock my current hybrid out of the bag. I played the X2Hot Pro for years and side by side this 20* 19 Apex was longer than the 18* X2Hot Pro. I didn't really care for the stock shaft and at $270 this is not that much better than the Epic of the X2Hot Pro. Puttingmatt
Enjoying the Apex Hybrid, still getting used to it, decent club, seems a little left side bias , but working on that. great sound
ballplayer002003
I have the old Apex Pro Hybrids and like them, but think I want to try the new Titleist ones or these. How do they perform on off center hits with jailbreak?
