cnosil Posted January 26, 2019 Share Posted January 26, 2019 Enjoyable video to watch. What I found interesting is the difference in DJ's thought process and the thoughts for Strokes Gained. Strokes gained talks about always getting as close to the hole as possible as because the closer you are to the hole, the fewer strokes you will need to get the ball into the hole. DJ seems to go with more of the old school thought process of leaving yourself comfortable numbers to the pin. Either way, the key message is learning your distances based on swing length/feel. I would love to have the space to do this and to have an affordable launch monitor to help with that goal.
