I love that rusty look on my wedges too. I would assume the holes are for swing weighting and heel/toe balancing similar to what Callaway does with their wedges. Removing some weight from that area of the wedge allows us to adjust SW and move the CG on the face a bit. Better flight, feel, etc. As far as the raw wedges...they will certainly rust over time, but it's probably more of an aesthetic/patina thing than anything. I personally don't oil mine. Some photos of mine are attached. I only had them outside for 10-15 rounds so they're probably on the lower end of the weathering. I have hit the Driver as part of most wanted testing (pretty sure I commented earlier in the thread), I am sure the three wood will be tested later. Driver isn't bad but I didn't like the sound, performance was in the range of most of other drivers but I think there is some room for improvement. For me, I would probably chose one of the mainstream models but if you aren't purchasing now, it is a club to consider in the future. after hitting the irons, I think they have a good product with the cavity back and I am interested in seeing how it compares to the other irons. I know that we can definitely get clubs up there...the S&H costs will obviously increase but we can do it.
